At Lazy Cat Refurbishing, we want your refinished furniture to arrive safely and on time. Because our pieces are custom and often large or delicate, we handle shipping and delivery with extra care.
Local Pickup & Delivery

Pickup: You’re welcome to pick up your completed piece from our workshop by appointment.

Local Delivery: We offer local delivery anywhere in the Greater Knoxville area for an additional $50 fee.

Extended Personal Delivery: On pieces worth $750 or more, we also offer personal delivery to any location within approximately 3 hours of our workshop (including major cities such as Nashville, Atlanta, Louisville, Chattanooga, Johnson City, Lexington, and Asheville) for a $150-250 delivery fee, depending on your distance from us. Extended personal delivery is subject to our availability as sometimes scheduling can be an issue. Please check with us first!
Out-of-State Shipping

For customers outside our local area, we partner with trusted third-party furniture shipping services.

Shipping insurance is mandatory for all of our out-of-state sales, and we include it in the cost of every piece we have listed in our store.

Shipping costs and timelines vary based on the size of your piece, location, and carrier availability. We’ll provide an estimate before scheduling.

Once your furniture has left our workshop with the shipping carrier, Lazy Cat Refurbishing is not responsible for delays, damages, or losses in transit.
Processing Times

Standard processing time for ready-to-ship items is 3-7 days, but sometimes it may take a bit longer to arrange shipment with a carrier.

Custom projects will follow the timeline agreed upon in your estimate.
Damage During Shipping
If your item arrives damaged in transit:

Take clear photos of the damage and the packaging.

Contact the shipping carrier immediately to file a claim.

Notify us so we can provide any necessary documentation to support your claim.
