What We do
We are custom furniture refinishers with a constantly revolving inventory of dressers, nightstands, cabinets, and buffets. Every piece is one-of-a-kind and refinished to the highest possible quality standard. some pieces we refinish we do ourselves and list for sale, some we hold in stock for the right person to create into their dream piece. we also offer custom commission work to breathe new life into your old furniture pieces. We can do do just about anything you envision!
The refinishing process
We take pride in refinishing furniture the right way. No shortcuts, no cheap products, and a careful process that ensures your piece not only looks amazing, but stands the test of time.
Cleaning
Every piece we procure is first thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned with a degreaser to remove dust, dirt, and grime.
Prime
Next, we apply a high-quality primer to block stains, odors, and tannins while improving paint/stain adhesion
Sand/strip
Removal or scuffing of the existing finish to ensure maximum adhesion for primer and paint/stain.
Paint/stain
After priming, we Apply 2-4 coats using a paint sprayer and premium quality furniture paint - no brush strokes!
Repair
We then fix any dings, holes, and structural issues. We can also add new hardware and bases/legs for a completely updated style!
Seal
we finish every piece off with 2-3 coats of polyurethane or polyacrylic, depending on your finish. This protects your piece for the long haul
